The appropriate name then is "The Garden 'in' Eden."
The plants in 2:5 where the plants "In The Garden" and not the plants of General creation found in 1:12.
The East is associated with God's judgment. (3:24; 11:2; 13:11)
In 2:9 there are two trees mentioned and it is only the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil that is prohibited. (Gen. 2: 17)
