In Genesis 3:8 we are told that Eve took the fruit and ate and she gave
to her husband and he ate. The answer to this question comes from
the New Testament. Romans 5:12 states that sin and death entered this
world through one man's sin. Further, I Tim. 2:14 tells us that Eve was
tricked into disobeying, with the implication that Adam was not
tricked. He knew what he was doing. |
| 2. The answer for this question comes from Romans 5:12 "just as through
one man sin entered the world, and death through sin." This says there
was no death before sin. |

This question is also better explained by the New Testament Romans
5:12, but is also explained by the order of creation. Day 5 God made
birds and creatures that live in the water (Genesis 1:20-23). It was on
the 6th day that God made land animals (Genesis 1:26-31). If birds,
sea, and land animals were created before Adam sinned, and death
entered the world through the sin of Adam, then nothing died before
Adam sinned. |
